Recording of The Sunday Morning Journalling Club: March 2025
Journalling Session: Mirrors; Identity; Soaring
Welcome to this recording of March’s TSMJC session, available to all subscribers this month!
After being unwell for over a week with flu, I cancelled Sunday’s session the day before. Or so I thought. I wrote an email to everyone booked on and for some reason, that didn’t send as I had thought. On Sunday morning, I started getting emails at 8am that made me realise that the email hadn’t actually gone out as planned and so this free recording comes with an apology for the issues that some of you faced on Sunday morning. I am so sorry - and thank you for being here.
You will notice at the start of the video that I also mistakenly refer to it as the April session. It’s not, although I have recorded it this morning! April’s session is up on Eventbrite, ready for booking now:

It absolutely doesn’t need to be March for you to watch this, so save it for when you are ready to write with me.
In the subtitle up above, I have tried to give an overview of the themes that doesn’t give away the actual prompts - so that you can choose which videos to dip into and explore your thinking as it unfolds.
I wish you a journalling journey that brings what you need.
I would absolutely love to know how you have found this session. Please do leave me a little comment to share which prompt spoke to you the most, what your writing gave you or how you feel having written.
During the third prompt, I mention the writing of Greg McKeown. You can check out his work here: https://gregmckeown.com/
Really enjoyed this Katie and just what I needed. I found it so validating to hear you have been comparing yourself to a fake version of you. I do that ALL the time and was able to write about that today and feeling much less isolated and more positive. Thank you. Anne
Lovely session as always Katie. Hope you're feeling better soon, I've had a similar sounding bug recently so definitely going around! Your reflections for the first prompt reminded me of the song 'In My Mind' by Amanda Palmer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3A9jmHdSYo). I enjoyed journalling and found the first two prompts hugly overlapped for me, as often happens in your sessions! Thank you for sharing :)
