Dear friends,
I hope that January has seen a gentle start to 2025 for you.
Yesterday, during this month’s TSMJC, I invited our community of journallers to come on a journey of exploration with me. I have had an idea flitting around for a while now and, in the interests of doing rather than just thinking, I am taking the first step in sharing it.
That idea is a blend of the two most powerful practices I know: coaching and journalling.
At this stage, I am looking for three people to trial the process. In return for 1:1 coaching and a bespoke journalling programme (more on that below), I ask for an investment of time and commitment to attend all sessions and to share detailed feedback with me. There is no monetary investment required for these three explorers.
The Words are the Way
A blend of coaching and journalling to allow you to free yourself and find your way forward.
Who is this for?
This opportunity is for you if you are experiencing something in your life right now that would benefit from some reflection, some decision-making and some positive action. Perhaps you are on a threshold of sorts, knowing that something is going to change or needs to change. Maybe you know what you want or need to do - but something is stopping you from moving onward. Maybe you don’t know what you want and you would benefit from some time in exploring what your path could look like.
As with all coaching, The Words are the Way is designed to focus on where you are in the present and to move you forward along your own particular path.
Please note that this programme is not suitable for those in need of healing the past, for exploring significant mental health issues or for other situations better suited to therapy. Should you need any more guidance around this, please do get in touch.
What happens in the programme?
At this stage, here’s what the trial package looks like:
A 45-min connection call in order to explore your situation, to ensure that coaching is appropriate and right for you.
A 60-minute bespoke journalling session written just for you, based on what you have shared during the connection call. I will share your prompts and will write alongside you. There will be time for reflection after we have finished writing.
A 60-minute coaching session that builds upon what you have recognised from journalling and that is designed to move you forward to action.
A 60-minute catch-up session to build in gentle accountability, to allow us to reflect on your journey and to allow you to share your feedback of the programme.
*All sessions are to take place via Zoom and are based on the UK time zone (GMT). Session availability: selected weekdays and weekends as agreed during the connection call.
Your commitment:
A whole-hearted commitment to the process: the time it takes for the sessions and to the actions that you decide upon.
Booking in all sessions over a 6-8 week period. We will select these dates during the connection call.
Sharing your open, honest feedback with me around the process. This will take the form of both verbal feedback and written feedback along the way (once per session).
If you are ready to explore:
Please either comment below or send me a brief email at katiepoolecoaching@gmail.com to let me know.
The deadline for comments and for emailing me is this Friday, 31st January.
After this date, I will collate all names, put them into a random name generator and collate a list of everyone in order of being drawn. I will then take the first three and arrange connection calls.
Should I be unable to make contact with these three names - or if either party decides not to proceed during the connection call - I will work my way down the list.
This seems to be the fairest way to proceed. I have a feeling that whoever is meant to end up working with me here, will end up doing so!
In the meantime, if you have any questions at all, just drop me a comment below.
Hi Katie, I'd love to be in the running for this - many thanks 💕
